MEDICAL DEVICE / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / Completed academic prototype
SteadiSpoon
Reduce utensil motion through a patient-informed assistive-device prototype.
My contribution
Gathered input from 60 patient surveys, translated needs into requirements, and iterated through more than 10 feature versions before experimental testing.
Current state
Academic prototype evidence showed a 32% reduction in the tested motion condition. It was not a commercial medical device.
